To be able to obtain breathing spaces that are cool in summers and warm in winters, we took inspiration from the local architecture and applied mud plaster on the walls and used recycled materials during the construction process, despite the difficulties of finding the right craftsmen or the execution.

We have selected mattresses produced with a special bedspring system to ensure an uninterrupted sleep. The equestrian drawings on the walls are the works of the illustrator and painter Gamze Aksoy, who also provided the name of your room. The pillows and bedspreads, cushions, handcrafted details are the proud results of our collaboration with Avukma – Women Producers Cooperative. In this way, we supported the local women producers and created a colorful environment that touches Urla's historical and cultural past.

Things to know

We have 12 rooms in total, 6 of them are classic and deluxe rooms, the remaining ones are in different suite categories. Our hotel houses mud-plastered rooms constructed with natural materials and methods per its nature-friendly concept. We applied standard plaster in two of our rooms.. You will find WC, shower, hairdryer, Heat pump heating, Inverter air-conditioning in Manège Plus Rooms and Manège Standard Rooms, additionally a jacuzzi, and a fireplace in Manège Suite.

 

Our farm sits right along the Urla Wine Route and is within 10 to 45 min drive away from the central locations around the area, such as:

You can join the Urla Wine Tour with Manej Urla, track down the traditional tastes along the Urla Gastronomy Route, visit Klazomenai Ancient City and chase unique arts, crafts, antiques, and handmade goods in the town’s prized Art Street. 

You can also take horseback riding lessons from the professional instructors in the Manège Riding School, that lends our hotel its name.
